Adam Fisher opted to fish on peg 46 and was duly rewarded with over a dozen fish..he broke his pb twice in the session firstly with a 20lb mirror and followed a few hours later with a new pb and lake record with a 31lb mirror, most of Adams fish fell to zigs at differing lengths.

Lee Burton popped in to fish one evening and was rewarded with a lovely dark bronze common at 26lb 4oz , Lee fished peg 12 and used sweetcorn on the hair over a bed of pellet and corn.

Young (9yrs old) Kye Cooke fished with his dad and gave the old man a good lesson taking a cracking brace of doubles to 18lb 5oz..all falling to drilled tv pellets soaked in hemp oil and fished over pellets at 30yds..

Venue regular Scott Briody continued his run of fish taking a trio of high doubles off peg 44 using manilla boilies topped with 10mm white crab toppers..

Venue bailiff Ian Harley took several fish to 19lb all fell to pellet over pellet and corn; currently trialling a new Samurai range of hooks from J precision hooks all Ian’s fish were caught on them; these hooks will be an awesome range watch for the release date later this Autumn.

With Autumn quickly approaching and the fish getting their heads down i have a feeling the current 31lb record wont last much longer, watch this space.
